The Resilience Project
At Rapid Bay, all students from Reception to Year 6 take part in The Resilience Project — a well-being program designed to build resilience and support positive mental health through simple, practical strategies.
Delivered through weekly classroom sessions, the program focuses on three key principles:
- Gratitude – learning to appreciate the positive things in life
- Empathy – understanding and connecting with the feelings of others
- Mindfulness – being present and calm in the moment
Each session includes engaging stories, interactive activities, and discussions that help students explore these themes and apply them in their daily lives. The program encourages self-reflection, emotional literacy, and healthy habits that build a strong foundation for wellbeing.
By embedding The Resilience Project into our weekly routines, we’re helping students develop life-long tools to cope with challenges, build positive relationships, and flourish both in and out of the classroom.
