Our 2025 Learning Expedition @ Rapid Bay Primary
This year our R–6 students explored:
✨ the stories + history of Rapid Bay
✨ our ocean + creek systems
✨ mapping + Minecraft modelling
✨ how to protect and care for our environment
✨ learning with local historians & community experts
📚 Students created their own historical fiction stories based on real people + places and are working on an advertisement for Rapid Bay.
🌱 We also began our Yattagolinga Learning & Action Project—exploring creek health, biodiversity, lack of stormwater + how we can help restore our catchment (supported by a $5000 grant).
